After a rather insightful Monday morning office presentation (by the genius that is Alex Stagg) I have been taught the wonders of the Brisbane city council website and all the nifty tricks it has to offer not only developers and real estate agents but to an average homeowner wanting to develop or extend and finally, the potential buyer who can really find out all the development opportunities for the block of land about to be purchased.
Gone are the days of phoning up the council, filling in forms, getting transferred from person to person for 20minutes simply to be cut off and have to start the process over again… THERE IS AN EASIER WAY!!!!
The Brisbane city council website has an abundance of links that can assist you in finding out the age of your home, the precinct, local planning, building restrictions and pretty much anything you could need to know about a your specific property
So when it comes time for a purchase of a new property, really get more bang for your block by knowing all of its potential!
