Team 214x300 The benefits of working in a teamIt really puzzles me how real estate agents can function without initially having an assistant or not even working in a team environment. To be successful you need a team behind you who specialise in tasks that you don’t have the time for, and you can focus on dollar productive activities, such as selling. I have had a personal assistant for five years now, and this has allowed me as an agent to focus primarily on listing and selling properly. I have never had to worry about paperwork for example, that is always taken care of. I also have a buyer specialist on my team who works with buyers and marries them up to a property and begin the sale process. My ‘team’ have developed into a unit where each individual has a solitary role, yet where one requires all others to work smoothly. From a sellers perspective, when listing your property with an agent, you should consider whether or not your agent has a team. Because, if the agent does not have an assistant, they will not have as much time to devote to selling your home, as they could potentially be tied down doing there own paperwork and marketing to keep their business running.
