We’ve all heard about property ‘staging’ and yes it works probably because most of us are over tripping over toddlers’, teenagers’ or partner’s paraphenalia when we eventually get to fall into a chair at the end of a long day.  It creates the impression of that simple uncluttered life so many of us long for.  Yes sometimes it adds dollars to the bottom line because a buyer can clearly see the lifestyle they long for, and so will pay the extra dollars, – if not more dollars, at the very least it will most certainly get that property sold so much faster.

Renovations are great – if you’re doing the full job top to bottom!  Other than that, it’s the little and often inexpensive things that buyers notice.  Door latches, a broken window, overgrown gardens and anything else that screams neglect.  Try it and maybe they’ll buy it!
