Wow – can you believe it is February already? The Christmas holidays seem like all too distant a memory, school is back, we are back at work and it would seem the year twenty ten is well underway without, dare we say, the majority of us failing to even notice.
Summer is also well and truly upon us, which for those of us who don’t have the luxury of air-conditioning, can certainly attest. Easter eggs have even begun sneaking their way onto supermarket shelves – so where does the time go? And more importantly, how do we get it to slow down?!
Whilst we cannot speculate on the concept of slowing down time (not our area of expertise – sorry!) we can say with assurance that the first year of the 2010’s decade has already proven to be one of hope and anticipation following a somewhat, shall we say, complicated year for some; particularly those in the real estate market.
Property has come back with an air of quiet confidence and is brewing away nicely; enquiry is flooding in for rental and sale listings in the Paddington area with north of 60 groups through our rental property open for inspections. It would seem everyone was waiting for the New Year, and the new decade, to kick in before actioning their plans to get into the property market.
Whatever the case may have been during the past twelve months; it’s time to leave it all behind as after all, that was so 2009!
