AS reported on news.com.au on the 16 December it seems that the home building sector has made a come back.

The demand for new dwellings has caused this come back or ‘rebound’, and it has been reported that “Australian dwelling commencements in the September quarter rose by a seasonally adjusted 9.4%”

‘The raise was above the market forecast of 6% and it was the first quarterly increase in home building starts since the June quarter, 2008″ (news.com.au)

It has been predicted by Citigroup senior economist Joshua Williamson that “the building sector will continue to improve as 2010 approaches”
