Part Two – Buying

So your looking to buy your first home?  The budget is tight, the properties you can afford really look like they need a touch up and your just not quite sure how to go about it?

It is simple and amazing what a few simple steps can achieve, and make your new property more like home.

  • Re touch your walls, by adding a fresh and modern colour.  A new coat of paint not only makes the room feel fresh and rejuvenated, you can also add a touch of your own favorite colours!
  • Polish weathered floor boards, by adding a shine, and removing any scratches the floor will look cleaner, as well as adding a light touch to the room
  • Remove or re lay carpets
  • Replace old curtains with modern blinds or simplistic new curtains
  • Change light fittings to create a more modern appeal, there is no worse a turn off then dirty switches and ancient fittings!
  • Enhance an old bathroom, by re tilling over old floors, or simply changing the facets

And of course by adding new furniture, as well as your own personal nick nacs, your new property is sure to feel like home in no time!
