Have you ever been to an open home, walked through, spoken to the agent, gone home and wished you had asked more questions?
When visiting an open home it may be wise to jot down a few simple questions before you arrive, that way when your viewing the property you wont forget the information you were interested to know.
Some Simple Open For Inspection Questions:
- What is the age of the property / When was it built?
- Why is the owner selling
- Price range
- Amenities
- Aspect
- Renovations – ie how high can i lift this property?
- Inclusions & exclusions
- Land size
- Rates
- Gas -bottled or town
and a few more if you are looking at a unit or townhome
- In the complex are there more owner occupiers or investors
- Pets
- Body Corporate rates and charges
- Sinking fund rates and charges
- What do the above two cover?
Remember if you do by chance need to ask a few more questions, agents are always more than happy to take your calls.
