I have on many occasions come across the question of whether or not a for sale sign is a necessity in selling a home.
The simple answer? Yes.
Hardly a day passes where I do not receive a call from an interested buyer, simply from taking my number from a for sale sign.
From my experience in real estate I have come to realise that while many people begin there search for a new home on line, potential buyers are also continuing their searches on their drives to work, on their sunday afternoon leisure drives, and whenever they are out in an area, which may be the perfect suburb for them.
And when that for sale sign pops right out at the potential buyer… Their foot is slammed on the brakes, and that is when I get a call.
The question you should be asking yourself when selling is not “do i need a sign board?” but rather “why shouldn’t i have a sign board?”
Unless you want your property to become an untold secret, that gets lost in the market – Always have a sign erected as soon as your property is on the market.
